We will be selling World’s Finest Chocolate to raise funds for our school. Students can win a variety of prizes based on the amount of chocolate they sell. All money needs to be turned in to the student’s teacher. A $30 donation is equal to selling an entire box of chocolate.
We will be giving away Caramel Popcorn to every student in school on that day! We love and care for all of our students and want to say “Thank you” for being part of our school.
We will have our Parent-Teacher Conference on Tuesday, April 9. The students will be performing, and parents will be able to view their students grades. Parents will also be able view and order school and sports pictures.,
We will be taking our Standardized Test on Thursday and Friday. This is not to determine if the students pass or fail; it is to see what they have learned. Some students will benefit from a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast, since these tests are just a little different than what they are used to taking.
For only $1, your student will be allowed to “dress down”. Just make sure that the clothing is within school dress code, and your student may wear casual clothes for the day!
We have two different field trips planned for Friday, April 19th.
The elementary field trip will be to the Stennis Space Center just across the Mississippi State Line. The cost of the field trip will be $20, and the students need to pack a sack lunch.
The High School students will be riding the St Charles streetcar and touring the WDSU news station. They will need to bring $20 to eat lunch and ride the streetcar.
Your student may purchase 2 slices of pizza and a dessert for only $5! Additional slices are available for $1 each, and soft drinks are available to purchase from our vending machine for $1 each.
On March 26th, at 7:00 PM, we will host our project presentation night. We will also have our Spelling Bee, Bible Memory, and History Bowl. Please come and see our student’s projects and academic achievements.
